We have been holding our Christmas Event Days for over 12 years! These days not only give us a chance to connect with our customers but also to give back to our community.
All of our mini games, prize draws and bubbly are either free, or have a small charge to raise money for charity. They are our way of saying thank you for shopping with us.

2011

This year saw the giant advent calendar, a beautiful 3 stone ring prize, a fabulous winner and our team all in blue!
2017
The first year of the Woods Wheel of Fortune! Our team all in Gold and the winner of a stunning diamond bangle.
2018
Probably our favourite year to date, when we celebrated our 70th anniversary! In honour of this huge milestone our team all donned their best 1940's outfits and we embraced the year of 1948. Our mini game featured Terry, our much loved Proprietor and Goldsmith, as the patient in a game of "Woods Operations". We also designed and made a stunning one of a kind WJ pendant worth a whopping £1800! This year we also had the honour of switching on the Coulsdon Lights!
2019
Well, we had no idea this would be our last event day for three years while Covid-19 wreaked havoc accross the world. We gave our Wheel of Fortune another spin for some smaller prizes and chocolate, while one of our fabulous customers scooped our prize draw of a beautiful Ruby and Diamond Pendant!
2022
In 2022 we joined forces with Coulsdon's Yuletide Magic who brought together a wonderful day of festive fun! Along Brighton Road in Coulsdon there was "Woods Jewellers Christmas Market", Santa's grotto, food, mulled wine, live music and a raffle.
Here at Woods, we had a special World Cup themed Christmas Event Day, where customers tried to score against Terry in our free dice mini game to win a prize! We served complimentary bubbly and over 100 people entered our free prize draw to win a fabulous hamper worth over £1000, which was won by one of our lovely customers Diana.
2023
In 2023 we gave away our free prizes in the form of "Woods Casino" including our very own Woods Jewellers chocolate casino chips! Every attendee at least walked away with their delicious chocolate casino chip, or if they were more lucky then a fabulous cone of vegan sweets or even an item of jewellery! Donned in red and black the team served free prosecco throughout the day and enjoyed talking to all of our fabulous customers about their Christmas plans.
2024
This year we decided to raffle the above pictured butterfly pendant for Charity. The pendant was designed and hand finished here on-site here at Woods Jewellers. This stunning pendant is 9ct Rose and White Gold, the body is set with Orange Sapphires, while the bottom wings are set with Diamonds. There is so much meaning behind this design, that it actually has it's own dedicated blog post! Click here to read more. A huge thank you to everyone who entered the raffle and braved the weather to attend our event day, together we raised over £1000 for the wonder charity Maggie's.
