Our Goldsmiths & On-site Workshop

With two Goldsmiths and an on-site workshop, you can leave your repairs and re-designs with us knowing that they will be completed to the highest standard… right here at Woods Jewellers!*

A little bit about our Goldsmiths

Terry our owner and one of our amazing Goldsmiths, has been here since 1983 and will be celebrating his 40th anniversary next year in 2023! In 1994, Terry’s Son Matt came to join the family enterprise. He is now our Senior Goldsmith and undertakes the vast majority of our handmade pieces and re-modelling. He is also responsible for many of the beautiful items you will find in our main window.

Our Workshop & what we do

We carry out a large variety of jobs; from minor repairs and re-sizing, to complete re-modelling of old items - and designing of new ones. We can repair items that have worn over time, re-model unworn family heirlooms into pieces that will be cherished forever, create bespoke items such as engagement rings and much more!

We now even try to film as many of these processes as possible, which you can watch on our YouTube page. We love showing our customers the journey and transformation of their items, showing them the intricate process behind their re-modelling.

We combine traditional handmade techniques with state of the art computer software, allowing us to offer a broad range of services, here is a more detailed list of our services:

· Designing and creating bespoke pieces
